@Simplybec81 Believe it or not if you still have an aol mail addrees you can keep it. But now the service along with yahoo is owned by Apollo Global Management.

  • DevinStudios Devin Studios (@DevinStudios) reported

@RedheadXilamGuy @Benimated It was mostly the Online Bubble that caused AOL to start tanking, combined with the merger's debt and the biggest issue of all: Culture Clashing.

  • Jesse_T_White Jesse White (@Jesse_T_White) reported

@Poor_Bastard @BobDigi69 @ColdBloodedJoke Time Warner's biggest problem before the AT&T acquisition was that it was a collection of fiefdoms (Warner Bros, Turner, and HBO) that didn't collaborate with one another. It's why they had no problem offloading Time Inc., AOL, and Time Warner Cable.

@DiscordianKitty It isn’t about out all. That’s the whole point. It’s about us. Go read the thread. You can’t help but center the discussion around yourselves. People are falling out of cars and playing with axes and fixing broken legs and you’re mad someone doesn’t care when you got AOL.

  • Picklenose1 Virginia Dreaming (@Picklenose1) reported

@MARK_Gu @IrishAxiom It seems to me that AOL wasn't a bad idea, just that they didn't improve it much, so it got obsolete in the blink of an eye.

  • wanyinbot Jiang Cheng (@wanyinbot) reported

Jin Ling. Come help me guess Wei Wuxian's AOL password

  • CNschedules CN News/Schedules (@CNschedules) reported

Really seems like internet and cellular providers merging with entertainment companies has proven to be a bad idea. Stick to cell phones. AT&T with Time Warner Verizon with Yahoo and AOL (currently selling those off) AOL with... Time Warner
