@PhillyMike My best friend worked in one of the towers. Luckily he went to work later than most people. There was no cell service that day so the only way to finally communicate with him was via AOL IM lol

Some of you never had to breathe on your “SuMmEr JaMs ‘05” burned CD and wipe it on your shirt before putting it in your five disc boombox while you logged into AOL to see if anyone good was on AIM and it shows.

@saifedean Has nothing to do with capitulation. With JPM there is only premeditated manipulation of assets they want to talk down bc they weren't optimally positioned yet (like with MSFT, AOL during dotcom). JPM entering a sector is often bad.. Look at the paper Silver price since 2011...

@Ryan_n_Laguna Hang up, check back online the next day to see if it's been canceled. That's how I canceled AOL BITD. #ProTip

The good part about AOL Instant Messenger and MSN and Yahoo and stuff like that, is that you had to sign in and you weren't reachable unless you were online. I think texting should work like this as well where someone can see you're not available before even texting you

I'm pretty sure the spam message I just saw was trying to sell us a service to help us rank on AOL. Wow... 🤔
