@13banger83 @MrCumbria80 @davemeltzerWON Time Warner that owned them . The AOL deal wasn’t finalized until a little over a month before WCW was sold. I’m sure the 24 months when the deal was being worked out didn’t help but AOL was buying a 150+ billion dollar company. The already failing WCW wasn’t a huge factor

Literally explained to aol my issue and told them BSG is saying they are blocked for some spam thing and that my mail provider is the reason and aol wants me to pay for a tech I asked what would the tech do that I need to pay for a "premium service"

Crypto L1s must come to terms with the fact they’re destined to be something running in the background (a protocol) and not a marketable product in and of itself. Those that don’t take heed of this may be destined to live through a (very) scaled down version of AOL in the 1990s

@Patrick_W_Reed I think that the disappointing numbers from the WWE network show that the money is in current product, not the library. Also, AOL/Time Warner showed that media conglomerates have no clue what to do with wrestling as an IP.

@smandal718 Technology changes so rapidly I would never count on a protocol to remain relevant for that long (5-10ths). Like Bell telephone or AOL…eventually even market leaders fade. I think crv will be 👑 for at least 2 yrs…after that, will need to reevaluate.

@pandastrong I wish AOL was still a thing, because I would have had to grab the mailer disc from my neighbors mailbox for you to make me aware of this. **** I miss dial up. My eyes!
