@13banger83 @MrCumbria80 @davemeltzerWON Time Warner that owned them . The AOL deal wasn’t finalized until a little over a month before WCW was sold. I’m sure the 24 months when the deal was being worked out didn’t help but AOL was buying a 150+ billion dollar company. The already failing WCW wasn’t a huge factor

@bmoredownbeats I’m “sent AOL IMs via SMS text” years old. And I couldn’t continue reading b. Too many typos in their headlines. Such a bad publication.

@djvlad You need to stop tricking and announcing it. Paying for free **** is ain't a flex, plus AOL opened the floodgates in the 90s

@NotPerrysBoobs @ElmWho I spent many hours trying to get it to work with the free aol cd's, but I never did. I think you might have needed to pay an additional fee or something.

@hthieblot That AOL home page was a virtual prison cell. Looked at it once, never went back.

Is it possible for $btc to go down to $1? The answer is yes. Once people no longer care about a crypto asset, it’s done. And this is the slowest one ever. Did you keep your aol dial up connection for nostalgia? No RIP $btc. And 🖕 to @saylor for dragging so many along

@AOLSupportHelp Please can AOL empty my junk folder - it currently has 765 junk mails in it. I have never known it so bad.

When the Internet first appeared, many people thought AOL was the Internet. Later, people discovered the Internet was still there. AOL wasn't. Then came a time when people thought Yahoo was the Internet. After that Google was the Internet. Then Facebook was the Internet. And now AI companies are becoming the new center of attention. The Internet itself never disappeared. The center of gravity simply kept changing.

@ryanpcrypto @thatsKAIZEN AOL didn’t conduct the poll, they reported it. My bad for not explaining that. You are MAGA after all.

Yep. Got in BIG trouble as a teen because we didn’t have internet at home so I grabbed a free AOL disc from Kmart then snuck a line from the phone block through ceiling into my bedroom and accidentally picked a non local access number and let it run at nights racking up huge bill
