@kaydacode My first "enterprise" job had MSN, AOL, GChat, and irc based on cliques. I pushed for standardization around Jabber, but that was too effective and free so we had to buy an "enterprise solution" that everybody hated.

Not a single institution will hold Bitcoin just because the proof of waste problem. PoS blockchains are the broadband Internet era of Crypto. PoW is the dial-up AOL era of Crypto. Dominance % moving to PoS very rapidly. 👀

@MattWalshBlog I remember getting the internet and using internet explorer. My grandma also had AOL and it was extremely slow. The internet was a weird thing back then. I also remember you cooking talk on the phone or be on the web at the same time. Simpler times.

for some reason it always catches twitch notif emails which isn't a dealbreaker (but IS annoying), and emails from my bank which is a bit more concerning, and I've had enough!!! I used to use aol and people laughed at me but aol never did this!!!

@MattWalshBlog Holy crap I feel old now. I thought we were close to the same age. The first time I saw AOL, I was 17. I clicked on it on my brother's computer and immediately freaked out because it said it was talking to someone. I shut it down fast. "WHO?? HOW MUCH WILL THAT COST??"
