Remember how in every WWE documentary about the Monday wars, they always talk about how you need to listen to fans? It’s presented like that’s how they won (nothing to do with AOL merger or anything). Why, then, do some WWE fans think it’s bad AEW tries to please their fans?

@Loso198 @MaracleMan WCW also died because of horrible booking decisions which drove down ratings. AOL would have kept them if ratings stayed up. And TK is using his fathers money too so he is kinda like Dixie. Either way AEW is making similar mistakes.

In 1996 AOL cost for dial up service was $41 a month for 19 hours of primitive internet. Who remembers the sound of the computer dialing the phone & you sit there crossing your fingers, hoping it will connect??

@WillTheLandMan @LizAlps And they can not support anything after S1 premiere. Its mind boggling how bad their pr/mktg has become. No brand plan other than ubiquity is tough. Remember when WB thought they could force feed you on AOL? The parental controls are just for show.

@Wayfare73806145 My nephew met his fiance’ on a dating site & they married about 5 mos ago. I stayed far away from dating sites because I used aol in the 90’s, seeing people meet, date, lie, & then get crushed. I guess that can happen anywhere, but I’d never share a car with a dating site date.

Will we look bad at Tesla’s earning manipulation and the coming frenzy over buying Twitter as the top? Kind of the crazy mentality that caused Times Warner to buy AOL back in the day. Talk about a disaster.
