@51_sdwms @JoeReynolds2020 @RadioFreeTom Well ya you’re older than dinosaur ****. That would be like asking if my dad had an aol cd during the 2000s

  • HammerMarching themarchinghammer (@HammerMarching) reported

@Cheguevoblin Lets all show Che our support by emailing him at his AOL account

  • vyakem Vyakem {🟡.1} (@vyakem) reported

NAPSTER CHAT > ICQ > AOL... Web2 > Web3 Web3 is the epitome of centralisation. We either need to go back or fix this bs before it's too late

  • CAMallory2 C A Mallory (@CAMallory2) reported

@Marcie2316 I think it started in the 1990s with information superhighway. Someone figured out the value of filtering information and moderating chatrooms way back in the days of AOL and Yahoo. Once they got the hang of it, first for advertising purposes and then other neferious censorship

  • deckenkatze deckenkatze (@deckenkatze) reported

@SleeplessTV_ yeah sorry as someone who grew up on geocities webrings, ezboards, aol lobbies, and vbulletin, **** them kids

  • rosieshaw Rosie Shaw (@rosieshaw) reported

@chelseahateyou @biconicwomann Contact support at both AOL & Gmail and create a filter to automatically send them to trash in the meantime?

  • outliersgeorg axiomatic@ch, amberite@dw, see pinned for mastodon (@outliersgeorg) reported

@88riddles @MalcolmFresh_ Ok whoa heck I never knew about the old one! Probably because I never used AOL. Count me corrected on that point.

  • FrenGutz GutzFren (@FrenGutz) reported

@Starlakitty Damn right. Been trolling since aol chat and talkcity

  • ChadThundrclock Red Cloud (@ChadThundrclock) reported

@BitcoinCarni @maxkeiser No, the only solution maxis have ever come up with it to transact BTC on 'lightening' which is no solution at all. Lightening is just a centralised payment platform, might as well be a credit card network. Also flexing the 'network effect' is laughable. We're you a AOL **** too?
