Today's generation never knew that Netscape and AOL was a big deal.... ...or that MSN was a browser... ...or that ICQ was a chat service.. ..or Ask Jeeves was a search engine.. ..or that you had to go to a net cafe to check email because noone had PCs to get online..

  • EdPoole15 Ed Poole (@EdPoole15) reported

@Ned_Mitchell Don't get me started, my Internet is so **** recently I watched a jpeg slowly load down like some sort of AOL flashback.

  • MonicaGerarde Monica Gerarde (@MonicaGerarde) reported

@AOL Your customer service is the absolute worst!! And how does my email just no longer exist!!! Very frustrating ordeal that I have been dealing with for 2 weeks now!!

  • TheBuggeroff The Dude (@TheBuggeroff) reported

@ronmarz @AdamBlackhat We're you in the marvel AOL chats around 99/2000? I can never remember if it was Ron Marz or Ben Raab who would pop in and just hang out.

  • mrjking crowded.news (@mrjking) reported

@ncweaver I'm just amazed by the 'connected his wallet' portion, like ok they 'stole it' but you gave them access because they just asked for it? This is like IM'ing people on AOL in the 90's and saying you needed their password because there's a problem with their account.

I get that I'm trying to do less computer and more Gardeners World but it would be nice if there was a single online garden shop that wasn't riddled with 1990s AOL UX vibes and broken payment implementations.

@michaeldweiss @MalcolmNance How does this schmuck think anyone can take him seriously with an aol email address!? Ugh. Still sucks tho. Sorry.

  • Nicolemens Nicole (@Nicolemens) reported

@GregIrwin9 It catches me by surprise every time and I'm irrationally annoyed that what should take 12 seconds never does. The Tetons trip communications even say don't use aol, yahoo, or CPS emails if you want to get these emails. Come on!

  • IchBinZerstorer Zed (@IchBinZerstorer) reported

@michaeldweiss Who ******** uses aol anymore?
