@LincolnsBible Not so much. The issue with Twitter (Google, FB) isn't the quality of their censorship, it's that their monopoly positions give their decisions outsized power. Require open APIs a'la AOL/Time decree.

@magic_treehouse The worst thing in those days was calling someone up at AOL or whatever to cancel your account and having to tell them what your screen name (account name) was on the phone. ‘Um it’s GinaGfan75’ (it wasn’t that but yeah’

@CoPo_Opinion @jeffhunt @jeffhunt, you are YEARS too late to this conversation. But I don't want to be rude, so I guess I'll ask your opinion on disco, legwarmers, the Fresh Prince, and AOL while we're at it.

  • LuciusSenecaJr President-Elect (For Life) Lucius Annaeus Seneca (@LuciusSenecaJr) reported

@Rugure89 @catturd2 Or AOL Or CompuServe Or Compaq Or Twitter (well, not yet anyway) Never believe you're too big to fail - customers are finicky and brutal and CEO's are not always the brightest.

  • MiddleGround2U Middle Ground (@MiddleGround2U) reported

@itsnicholaifyi @CNN IHeart is the AOL/Time Warner of this generation. Let them fail. It will be due to their own arrogance.
