    When I think about all the damage done and continuing influence that Facebook has, I just remember that, at the dotcom peak, AOL was worth $318 billion in 2021 dollars at one point.

    @alxberman Google never talked about how it was going to to replace Yahoo or AOL, it just did it. Nobody predicted it would replace them, we only know after the fact. Posturing and boastful claims don't impress me.

    @acaguy I drove thru and stopped in Nebraska a couple times now and I think they still have AOL for internet. Its awful.
