    @The_Katbot It was also the reason I managed to push my parents off of AOL and move on to a better ISP, since AOL required its launcher to be open to stay online. I think it was a common complaint. Before that, I would use Net Zero accounts until I was flagged as a "heavy user" good times.

    @julielerman @Xfinity It's a racket since they figure some % of their victims will never notice. I think I have one of those AOL CD's kicking around somewhere you can have if you're looking for a quality change. 👍 ..and maybe a modem to go with it.

    @rascal2q Last I checked - I can’t even change my AOL Pw because I’m not my dad… so they won’t change it over the phone. and they didn’t have security questions back then but they think they do have them.m for the acct…😭😭😭. I can login but literally it change my Pw. The struggle!

    @RoyaltyCanadian @JordynneGrace This goes back to the AOL messenger days. These guy was really into Lycra. Had the SN associated with to come off as a gear maker. Would message workers wanting measurements. Wanted video of us measuring our inseams. I was like WTF go away.

    @Yeefi @PunishedSpook My gay counselor in elementary school was found to be flirting with kids on aol instant messenger but he never got charged with it. I didn't even know he was gay till I was a teen.

    @Cernovich This kind of whining is absolutely unreal. Morherfucker, the internet exists. YouTube! Holy **** I never would have wasted time in college but when I went we had AOL. I found muscle and fitness subscription my best investment. This ain’t forbidden knowledge.
