@TubaZef I mean I get nostalgic for, like, early AOL chat room days and ****, like the Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon spaces, but other than that? Outside of early Neopets and the like, kids today aren’t missing much.

@bette_oh I had to use my work email to confirm my account. Sent it to my AOL/Verizon email 4 times and it never went through.

@JustinMcElroy I used to stay late after work a few nights a week to argue with people in AOL chat rooms…bc NOBODY had internet at home. At the time, there was no such thing as IT tracing your ill-advised, unprofessional internet activities. It was the best of times and the worst of times.

@rob_sheridan I remember the warez that modded the AOL app (I think?) that generated fake tokens so that AOL was essentially free? They didn’t fix it for yeeeeears.
