  @KatAtDisney @jpalmerdubs I have one friend who’s still uses her same AOL account since she got it in the early 90’s. They also live so remote that they are on dial up. They never had a cell phone until last year until I gave her and her hubby our old iPhone 6x their lives have changed. lol still has AOL

  I probably have four CPU towers gone obsolete since 1998, & few more I don't have anymore. My first computer was a Packard-Bell Navigator in 1998. Dial-up AOL, slow as Hell. In 2012 I worked at Steve Case's house in McLean. $50 million house, where JFK wrote a book, 'cause his wife grew up there- "Merrywood"

  i don't buy the "ai search replaces Google" thesis. the data says the opposite is happening. Cloudflare Radar, may 2026: every ai chatbot — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity — sends 0.29% of global search referrals. Google sends 87.63%. 301-to-1. Anthropic's ClaudeBot crawls 11,122 pages for every human visit it returns vs Google's 5:1. Alphabet Q1 2026 filing: Google search revenue $60.4B, +19% yoy, up from +17% in Q4. ai overviews hit 2.5B monthly users; ai mode crossed 1B. alphabet says ai overviews monetize at rates "similar to traditional search" (june 2026 investor presentation). the kill-google thesis is showing up as negative signal in the actual p&l.   For people with newsletters - do you get more spam reports from AOL/Yahoo users? I have a user which hit mark as spam 3 times in the last month or so, but is still using the product. People tell me that's "normal" for AOL/Yahoo users, that some of them treat mark as spam button as a delete button. How to handle this? Disabling the user?
