  • jhamby Jake Hamby (@jhamby) reported from Los Angeles, California

@sarahjeong I have no idea what he's worked up about. I just read what you wrote and it all made perfect sense to me. I have no love for Google or Facebook, but the law is what it is so that a previous generation of service providers (AOL & friends) wouldn't be sued out of existence.

  • LarryRosenthal Larry Rosenthal (@LarryRosenthal) reported from Los Angeles, California

@MuseZack Lol. At #digitalhollywood where half the questions and answers on panels are about this Netflix issue. Just remember the reality of aol and Facebook actual numbers.;) When dug up.

  • rocket_jenross Jen Ross ❤️🚀🇺🇸 (@rocket_jenross) reported from Los Angeles, California

@dakami @arbissell @PhenomenalPoto MCI Worldcom had a real product & people loved their service. They built out the internet. Enron had products. Sunbeam had products. Adelphia, Global Crossing, AOL, Tyco, Valeant - guess what they had. Products. Having a real product doesn’t mean you have a sustainable business

  • LarryRosenthal Larry Rosenthal (@LarryRosenthal) reported from Los Angeles, California

@crazysmiles @zeynep as they did yahoo and aol before.. easy to predict... but more damage done. a long slow dreck to orwells 1984.

  • patriautism PATRIAUTISM (@patriautism) reported from Los Angeles, California

@joncoopertweets @AOL Howard is deathly afraid of having his taxes raised. He's a one-issue candidate for the wealthy. How pathetic.

  • benwoodall Ben Woodall (@benwoodall) reported from Los Angeles, California

My favorite part about being in SAG is during award season, I get shipped a LOT of DVDs I’ll never watch. It reminds me of the good old days of being bombarded by AOL CDs

  • Xanderrific Xander Jeanneret (@Xanderrific) reported from Los Angeles, California

@RenoHex @vampiresnvino @yerawizardkelly @thebeccascott ‘I tried eating an AOL Free Trial Disc to connect, but all I got was a network of bloody gums. Also! I didn’t realize others could hear the beatles singing, too! I like to get close to them with my face, but they tend to fly away.’

  • evafoxc1 Eveline Chines (@evafoxc1) reported from Thousand Oaks, California

  • blakestilwell Blake Stilwell (@blakestilwell) reported from Los Angeles, California

@Ask_Spectrum me and a few million people in LA are having internet issues because your service is trash. You can help me by going back in time to prevent me from ever choosing Spectrum. Say what you want about AOL in the 90s - dial up was more reliable than @GetSpectrum.

  • seeohellee Cole (@seeohellee) reported from Los Angeles, California

“It’s really annoying that flirting through text really hasn’t changed since the days of AOL Instant Messenger. And I’m still bad at it.”

  • NEDARBNAGROM ned (@NEDARBNAGROM) reported from Los Angeles, California

i miss AIM/AOL that shit was so tight y’all younger fools missed tf out smh

  • jhamby Jake Hamby (@jhamby) reported from Los Angeles, California

@nuttycom @ZanVetter @natepatrin @BobbyBigWheel Another thing people younger than us might not remember is paying a monthly subscription fee for a commercial online service like CompuServe (pricey), GEnie (good multiplayer games), Delphi (cheap Internet, good forums), Q-Link (which became AOL), Prodigy, etc..

  • el_duderino8184 The Dude (@el_duderino8184) reported from Los Angeles, California

  • jamesjgutierrez James J. Gutierrez (@jamesjgutierrez) reported from Los Angeles, California

@thehill Dude, it was 1998, i was still on AOL, it was the dark ages. We didnt know that Doctors weren't supposed to jack you off. But now we know. Our bad.

@sherrybb @RepMarkMeadows @CongressmanHice @RepTomGarrett @RepLeeZeldin @WarrenDavidson @RepAndyBiggsAZ @RepGosar @replouiegohmert I always see the the sender and the address. I’ve never had to set it up, it’s always been automatic for me. I’ve used AOL, ICloud, GMail and they all were automatic set ups for me. You can change it to show this info.

  • AllenYork IG: HomelessMillionaire (@AllenYork) reported

@djyounglegend That shit look like a 99 Aol message board

  • salik Salik Shah (@salik) reported

"I don’t know how you fix [Yahoo/AOL]. This is my first publishing gig. I’ve never been a publisher before and I think we, out of arrogance or whatever you have when you run things, I showed up and thought this was going to be an easy thing to fix.

  • TonyYoull TY I 92 (@TonyYoull) reported

LITERALLY THE NEXT FIGHT Opponent has 256k AOL dial up, game lags at the start, comes back and I'm in a health event. FIX YOUR SHIT

  • scrottie Scott Walters (@scrottie) reported

@LumpyLouish Sorry. I don't know what came over me there. I guess my AOL was acting up. Seriously tho I unmapped my caps key so I had to hold down shift with my pinkies to do that. Being old and cranky is hard work.

  • TravisSMcClain Travis S. McClain, Dilettante and Raconteur (@TravisSMcClain) reported

@gmail @AOL Look, I clearly hadn't updated the @AOL account. That's on me, I get it. But having such an asinine system that requires you to email support from the account you're locked out of is a [redacted] [redacted] with a [redacted] on top.

  • myjourneymyself Me, Myself & I 🇺🇸 (@myjourneymyself) reported

@clovis1931 @AOL Exactly. This can never happen again. 😡

  • TravisSMcClain Travis S. McClain, Dilettante and Raconteur (@TravisSMcClain) reported

@gmail @AOL The "help" page from @AOL is brilliant, too. If you want to chat with someone, you need a premium account. If you want to email someone, YOU HAVE TO DO IT FROM YOUR AOL ACCOUNT. Their next best answer is, "Make a new account." Well, I could, but THAT DOESN'T HELP WITH @Gmail.

  • djkieraw 7*GeneraloftheArmies. (@djkieraw) reported

slow internet or slow processor idk but either way... youd think i had more patience growing up with aol and dial up.... but when youve worked for companies and their internet is crazy fast.

  • Vicki_243 Victoria Martin (@Vicki_243) reported

@nomes3112 That’s horrible :( You should get your money back if you’re AOL protected and then you can rebook with another airline as soon as you get the refund
