  • Hendel Lt (ir)Rev Hendel (@Hendel) reported from San Diego, California

I appear to be receiving spam email sent to @aol.com addresses - I’ve never had one. Sure would be useful to dig down and see all the headers on those messages, @SparkMailApp. 🤨

  • thebayleerenee Baylee Renée 🏳️‍⚧️ (@thebayleerenee) reported from San Diego, California

I remember I used to read Doctor Who Online but then the guy who ran it messaged me on AOL Instant Messenger out of nowhere (this is a long ******* time ago) and tried to get me to buy **** through his affiliate links and I was so weirded out I never went back

  • DoctorOcto David Edelman (@DoctorOcto) reported from San Diego, California

@pearl_goldman Yes—but the free AOL service that comes with the Microsoft microchips makes it totally worth it. 😜

  • justex07 Justin Scott (@justex07) reported from San Diego, California

@itsonlyzach I had that same sort of AOL/Yahoo IM gaymotional support. Literally life saving.

  • CherylHeuton CherylHeuton (@CherylHeuton) reported from San Diego, California

@cFidd @EricKleefeld I find it odd, if not curious, that the moment I hit “send” on my column that’s highly critical of the 1990s, my AOL service disconnected. Inexplicably, it will be out all decade. Never happened before. Probably just a wrinkle in time. I drove to Prodigy and sent the column.

  • SDDonavan SDDONAVAN (@SDDonavan) reported from San Diego, California

@CommonnamePA @BenAndWoods It’s been pretty bad for most of my life and I’m 50. But the Dodgers for all their winning and money have won plenty of pennants there no doubting that but haven’t won the World Series since 1988. Empires have come and gone. Grunge, AOL, hell the Dodgers are the AOL of MLB. But

  • TheSkyPiel Piel (@TheSkyPiel) reported from San Diego, California

@peterkiim You never replied to my AOL

  • socaluncensored SoCal UNCENSORED (@socaluncensored) reported from San Diego, California

I'm going to treat tomorrow like it is 1997 all over again and flip between AEW and NXT in commercial breaks. Also, since there was no social media back then I'm going to sign onto AOL and rage about the shows in a chatroom. After I go to Blockbuster and pick up a disk that is.

  • Budmanthegreat The ****** Buddah (@Budmanthegreat) reported from San Diego, California

@Parzival571 @Dave92138216 @RyanNoe10 Ohhh party lines and original AOL chat rooms. ****. Unfiltered lol

  • mattmmille Matt Miller (@mattmmille) reported

AOL posted teaser: What happens if Biden declares a "climate emergency"? I'll tell you what happens: we're screwed. You think gas is expensive now? You ain't seen nothin' yet. And electricity generated by fossil fuels? Same. Whole industries will fail and all support companies.

  • HumbleMumble uncle (@HumbleMumble) reported

Got bored last night and looked to see if Netscape Navigator still existed in any capacity and I guess they are owned by Verizon and there’s still a dial-up service called Netscape ISP and they have the most Web 1.0 page and when you try to log in, it asks you for an AOL email

  • MrCleverArt Mr Clever Art | CleverVision (@MrCleverArt) reported

Guess no one wants to be associated with @Microsoft @Minecraft now that they’ll go down in history next MySpace, limewire, Netflix, blackberry & aol. Didn’t advance yourself into web 3 or NFTs; you are worthless to most of the world. Never played Minecraft. Microsoft last use?

  • t0kenfunger sShan (@t0kenfunger) reported

When I was like 15 an everyone was just starting to take up msn/AOL/ICQ chats I got into a shameful disagreement with an indigenous friend from school on msn. I insisted I was native because I was born here. Dug my heels in doubled down used nasty rhetoric tricks. Was a bastard.

  • OpsAnjankar Shubham Anjankar (@OpsAnjankar) reported

@AOLSupportHelp Hi Team, Could you share detailed steps to whitelist a sender in AOL mail? One of our customers is having issues with newsletters going to spam.

  • tf_dao Thousand Faces Club (@tf_dao) reported

@jasonfried @37signals @AOL This incident taught him the biggest lesson of his life... He'd built Audiofile as he needed it. Eventually, he understood other people would need it, too. But he was okay if no one else ever used it. He figured, if he needed it, certainly someone else will.
