AOL! TERRIBLE! It was to mean “America On Line”! Could not keep a tech advisor complete a help request on line to resolve problems with my email. Jess said “hello, what seems to be the problem” then disappeared and I had to pay to get him on line to start! VERIZON wake up please!

@AOL Poor lady she tried to help. Maybe if she would have helped the student pay they would have left her alone. Very sad.🙁

I tried to customize my Slack color scheme and it’s nothing short of appalling. Come to think of it, I never really was good at AOL color profiles, either.

My mom controlled our AOL account when I was about 13 and would come into my room to sign me in. So, I created an entirely fake AOL login flow in Visual Basic and had her sign me in once to capture the password. Old school phishing.

@stephendelong78 @CALWDA @JulieSuCA @CA_EDD #CAEDD Is a complete disaster. INCOMPETENCE. It’s like as if someone who has dial-up Internet, an AOL email account and thinks ctrl+alt+delete is tech support is running the IT programming Dept. @CA_EDD The “pending” glitches and lack of cust. service needs to end ! @CryptoMichNL Honestly until much of these crypto investments are more simple to use & insured most of these projects will fail. This is like the internet in the late 90's many millionaires will be minted & be bankrupt in 5years as the junk falls apart & the giants rise to the top, Aol, Yahoo

Doubtful many will appreciate this, but... My father just asked me if I could “help” him create a new email. But, why, you ask?! He currently pays @AOL $30 a month to “retain” his from the late 90s. He never stopped using, or paying for, it in what is now the 3rd decade since!

@woke8yearold @orthonormalist Companies can coast on past accomplishments long after they cease being capable of accomplishing anything new. Most of the tech giants laid the foundation for their success a decade ago and ain't done **** since then. I mean, Yahoo is still a thing. Ditto AOL.

@scdemandred @Stonekettle Back in the day the stupid spiked in September when the freshmen got online then tapered off as they were "educated." Then we got muggles pimping green cards and the final straw: AOL connects. Now it's always September on the internet.
