  • yasSF Yasmine Scallan (@yasSF) reported from San Francisco, California

AOL! TERRIBLE! It was to mean “America On Line”! Could not keep a tech advisor complete a help request on line to resolve problems with my email. Jess said “hello, what seems to be the problem” then disappeared and I had to pay to get him on line to start! VERIZON wake up please!

  • TenantsUpstairs Natasha Vo (@TenantsUpstairs) reported from San Francisco, California

my first aol screen name was sk8rgrl91 so never had any doubt about it

  • rod4p Paul Rodriguez (@rod4p) reported from San Francisco, California

@AOL I agree. The problem is a lot of people either can't afford or have no room to store clothes. Very sad.😐

  • davidbyttow David Byttow (@davidbyttow) reported from San Francisco, California

My mom controlled our AOL account when I was about 13 and would come into my room to sign me in. So, I created an entirely fake AOL login flow in Visual Basic and had her sign me in once to capture the password. Old school phishing.

  • espi espi (@espi) reported from San Francisco, California

I tried to customize my Slack color scheme and it’s nothing short of appalling. Come to think of it, I never really was good at AOL color profiles, either.

AOL Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • theJacko Ranch Devereaux (@theJacko) reported

People still posting videos with “wait for it” like my elderly millennial brain hasn’t been broken since the advent of AOL Instant Messenger - and as if I have *any* semblance of patience left

  • RediNNevada 🦄 Redi 😷 #StillwithHRC #IStandwithUkraine 🚫DMS (@RediNNevada) reported

@SANJOSEMAILMAN yep! I don't use other emails. I've tried them and they have so many problems, from attachment is too big so can't send/receive, to gmail outright blocking ALL my mail from getting in so huge issues. I gave up. None as trustworthy as aol!!

  • RueLineback Mx. Rue Hightower (@RueLineback) reported

I've kept an AOL email address for something like fifteen or twenty years that I mostly use to filter out potential spam. For all that entire time, the account has given me the weather in New York (a state I neither live in nor have visited) and I have never known how to fix it.

  • Siriannista Bootleg Sepultura Longsleeve (@Siriannista) reported

@Stop_The_Panic @JodyFritzke @SirKierAbstain For the record tho, AOL isn't a secure email platform as they've had lots of data breaches in the past and their security is generally bad. Your privacy and data aren't as secure on an older platform like that or Yahoo. If you're still using AOL you should really switch.

  • Mj32244975 Mj (@Mj32244975) reported

@natbrunell Unpopular opinion: Bitcoin is outdated tech. It’s the AOL of crypto. It’s 12 years old already. Would you use a phone or laptop from 12 years ago? It’s slow, expensive, and use a **** ton of power. There are many next gen projects in crypto now.

  • ConfrontingCons Confronting Conservatives (@ConfrontingCons) reported

@KassyDillon So you’re one of those people who flipped out when @AOL stopped charging for their service & people who’d never had it before could suddenly get it for free after you’d paid for it for years. At least…you would be…if you’d been alive when @AOL charged people for its service.

  • JohnBAJudsonSt1 John B.A. Judson Street (@JohnBAJudsonSt1) reported

@Drealstudmuffin Was? it AOL? #SW or just evil intent all the way around? Think WHO knows a bout timber harvest and cookie cutter homes at the Fed ex level... Who wants a loan from them anyways? WATCH Good or bad we sure are watching a fast track movie. #playbyplay

  • nolastevedore nolastevedore (@nolastevedore) reported

@XBIObserver $AMZN and $AAPL not immune to inflation, supply chain problems, economic uncertainty, higher input costs, consumers feeling the pinch from higher prices Fundamentals don't matter until they do $TSLA $TWTR seems like the AOL-TWX moment plus banks may be overextending themselves

  • gvweir GvW (@gvweir) reported

@systemisrigged1 @ZoeJardiniere I've been using the internet since AOL dial-up days and I've literally NEVER had a "porn landmine" message! And we're expected to believe this MP got one twice on different days while in the Commons. Mind the flying pig!!

  • iLoveCHUNK C H u N K (@iLoveCHUNK) reported

Remember if you feel stupid 1.5 million people STILL pay for AOL Internet See now you feel better
