AOL Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • itsLIRAN Liran Cohen (@itsLIRAN) reported

@Awyee_is_Ghost @Vikingobitcoin2 AOL had over 35m members during its peak... And if you compare that to the number of users online at the time it was a large majority. Facebook is the social network for geriatrics, kids don't want to use Facebook. Your thought process here is flawed.

  • CriTown ⒺⓃⓃ (@CriTown) reported

@CNBC @netflix will be the next AOL. What if someone had 2 houses why would I pay even more. That is beyond ridiculous! I will cancel

  • Paulo3times Paulo (@Paulo3times) reported

@MrMichaelSpicer Culture sec said internet was 10 years old. No wonder AOL disappeared, they were selling internet service before it was even invented. Pretty stupid thing to do.

  • skullcap06 The Solo Player🎮👾 (@skullcap06) reported

@VNiederman Never been on it Facebook was my first one well besides the chat rooms in AOL

  • HandsomeRandall TheHandsomeRandall (@HandsomeRandall) reported

@Marcbuffbagwell @LashCanDraw So glad AOL never merged with WebMD. "You've Got mail" was annoying enough. Imagine typing in your symptoms, and get the announcement "You've got Herpes."

  • FreeTown30 Black Man - Say Her name (@FreeTown30) reported

@haulyuhass__ AOL was much heavily marketed down here than it was in Canada

  • JustAGirl_zero JustaGirl (@JustAGirl_zero) reported

@glennkirschner2 In all seriousness, that is awful and I hope these folks are taken down by youtube quickly. I appreciate all your good work Glenn and these fools using you for fraud makes me angry on your behalf. Besides, We all know you'd use AOL instant messaging anyway..joking.

@eerie_bxby No *******? Nah fren, no mutuals. I also have an ton of unread texts, but I get so much freaking spam every day I kinda don't even check for anything anymore. It's almost as bad as my AOL inbox after 20 years

  • Cerebrix_LFG Brix (@Cerebrix_LFG) reported

@ElectJayCBlock When AOL had a call center in Albuquerque, they had policies, like any other social network. It’s their network. You don’t HAVE to use it. But if you want to use theirs, then you can’t harass or be hateful to others. Microsoft was founded here 1/2 Xbox has the same policies.

@RayLorettoJr Sad story. I was an early adopter of AOL. They offered $10,000 in shares before the IPO. I asked professional investors. They all said bad idea. So I passed. When AOL merged with Time-Warner, that $10K would have been worth $3 million. Big wins come when you see what others don't
