@ales_frost Best wishes .👍.. Surely you would help not only yourself but others too. Some causative/s are amiss ... ❓limitations of "techniques or legacy methods" ? A query now more striking that "the virus enters brain via olfactory system" & hardly any traces of damage there ? 1/Aol

@jack We didn't have this problem with AOL! You guys went Barclay crazy and as usual always made it worse instead if solving the problems!

@SmokeyMagma @prchovanec I never used it, even though it was sort of the thing at first. I moved from Conpuserve to the web without festering in AOL. But then I was kind of in/going into that field (graduated college in 1995).

  • CraigSJames Craig James (@CraigSJames) reported

@mrravenclawed Haha, I did skip a bit of the wider internet until later. I never used AOL or MySpace or yahoo etc My first foray into social media was Gaydar shortly after it launched.

  • kristintothemax Kristin (@kristintothemax) reported

@Jaybefaunt That God awful AOL noise that screeched as you connected

  • Shatter242 Shatter 💉💉P 💉M (@Shatter242) reported

@octal @TProphet Time share systems were really great central meeting places (the source) early on, as opposed to AOL which tried to be the entire internet. Telemail offering national (dialup access) email Addy in the 80s was also pretty wild, as long as you were on their service.

  • UnCutLiveShow 𝖀𝖓𝕮𝖚𝖙 𝕷𝖎𝖛𝖊*™️🎙 (@UnCutLiveShow) reported

@Dudechair @MascotKotaBear Here’s the hard cold truth that no one wants to understand #WCW made a **** ton of money for Ted Turner. AOL sold WCW not Ted Turner, #WcW was not a failure. If AOL would’ve sold to Eric Bischoff & investors to buy, it would’ve been better for the Biz.

  • MichellyDav Michelle Davidson (@MichellyDav) reported

@prchovanec When I am inpatient with the speed of something electronic, I try to recall how long it took to sign in to AOL ...how long it took to open anything.
