@studenthumanjim @Firestorm1776 @susandtom Hopefully remember Beto and AOL came to help Texas while Cruz ran. And where is Cornyn? Is he on the beach waiting for Cruz to return?

@anon_opin I still remember the day when I figured out I could manually configure my dial-up connection with my AOL account and didn't have to use their horrible software. It was like a whole new computing world opened up before me.

@calchulus Great thread. The problem is that CZs objectives conflict with the premise of what open decentralized finance is all about. It’s a great test environment but won’t have staying power long run. Kind of like AOL that is faster and cheaper than real internet, once internet....

AOL left it off of their default init string because it made tech support easier lol

@pi8you Looks like AOL might've ********** IMAP authentication in particular. Traditional IMAP settings returned auth errors since Monday. Removing and readding worked fine but added an OAuth token.

@grayotaylor And here I thought it was bad when my parents picked up the phone and disconnected my AOL sessions... 😬

high tech. low life. 🏴🏴 (@maxwells_d3mon) reported
@manicXBT Nope. The elephant in the room is people are too dumb to get it. I do think all of finance will be connected through this system, but you will get watered down AOL, with fund manager/government automatons and bots, ran by corpos.

@amandablount2 @AOL I remember them falling out of every issue of Mac World like snow. And they were always in the mail "FRREEEE 100,000 HOURS!!!"

@Sharona53402058 @RAMRANTS @LarrabeeNed The current 80yr old was 50 when AOL first started up. They have had 30 damn years to somehow figure it out. There is always an excuse for everything. Joe has a history of being at the very least indifferent toward issues on race.
