Thanks to Biden picking Kamala Harris for VP, I get to drag my Viking name out of the closet. An AOL-era edgelord irritated that he couldn't get a rise or his way from a woman in tech support dubbed me Amanda the Nasty. It's been a thing insecure guys do for decades. #nastywoman

AOL brings back bad memories.. the newness of it.. the thrill.. the crappy chat rooms where they dumped you right after you joined, and people right away sent you a message saying you HAD to give them your password! I almost fell for it... Bad stuff! #abc2020

.@AOLSupportHelp still major problems with the mail app a year on....user feedback still not working (I wonder why), text won't resize in email and it's mostly too small to read on a phone and auto rotate still not available despite thousands of user comments. #AOL #Listen #sad

@The_DoctorO @heroineinabook Was it that long? I remember stopping using it after 1 or 2 updates after the AOL acquisition because it became difficult to use. I could be misremembering. That's the problem with nostalgia

  • jkostecki_rei Jake REI (@jkostecki_rei) reported

When doing RE acquisitions: You CANNOT send people unsolicited email. - NEVER: to personal accounts - NOT MANY, NOT AUTOMATED, NOT FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME: to business accounts (even if they're hotmail/aol). You have to opt-in EARLY. Or you'll f*up your WHOLE domain.
