Anyway, we both used that AOL account until BellSouth started up its ISP service in the fall of 1996. The password wasn’t changed and the account was active until sometime in 1998 when the county finally did an audit and canceled it.

@srbaker Given the examples of XMPP and the AOL messenger protocol before it we all knew this was never going to work anyhow

@MaybellRomero I remember when Westlaw charged per minute. The Internet almost killed them off. (AOL use to charge by the minute when they were the only place you could go.) DAMN I'm old.

  • elchefe Tim Banks stands 5 feet, 8 inches (@elchefe) reported

@ChappellTracker I’d go so far as to say that all of application design peaked with Winamp and I will never forgive AOL for ruining it.

  • LucasMosca18 Lucas Mosca (@LucasMosca18) reported

@LinkedIn why is your app the worst software that I have ever experienced. Do you use the old dial-up servers from AOL? Honestly slowest site I have ever witnessed it’s embarrassing

  • _StockOper_ Stock⚡️Operator (@_StockOper_) reported

@john__rosevear @INArteCarloDoss Janus 2.0 just bought the crap out of AOL indiscriminately. At one point I remember it was well over 25% of the total portfolio assets. And owned by other Janus funds on top of that. Eerily similar to how $ARKK buys its own etfs.

  • Chupacabra_01 Chupacabra (@Chupacabra_01) reported

@Rich_LBFan But the problem is that AOL didn’t realize the cheap toaster was actually a pretty nice one that a lot of people loved lol

  • ictsport Linda Blain (@ictsport) reported

@AOL So sorry you made bad choices.

  • joemcc2016 Joe McCauley (@joemcc2016) reported

@BrandonTamburri @JZ7191 @CaesarsSports They basically just told me it was an issue with yahoo emails (and aol emails) and for me it seems to have been resolved as I got 20 forgot password emails all at once. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything I could do on my end so it’s a waiting game.

  • Trick206 Trick (@Trick206) reported

@TheRealZnachki @RepNewhouse Notice how Dan never specifies the legislative bills content he's against? He just follows the memo's in his AOL account
