@VictorJServin @benedictevans For this second one apple does bring a solution with Apple TV. All in one place. Plus now the new smart tv app will help. Content it just parallels what we have with services. You had AOL, now you have fb Twitter insta etc...

The BTC walled garden looking more and more like it is destined to be beating heart of the replacement for the fiat walled garden. BTC = AOL XMR is destined to be the internet of money.

@LEBassett When I was at AOL, we got fired in a similar way — to make way for HuffPost jobs. The corporate Circle of Life will never gain a moral compass.

The layoffs at HuffPost are terrible. But this was baked in when the company was founded with money from venture capitalists and private equity. That's why it got sold to AOL, and then Verizon. Journalism was never profitable in the past, it isn't now, and it never will be.

@therealcliffyb On the days of AOL a Canadian Phreaker (Phone Hacker) said he was going to redirect my house phone to an emergency service number. I said "yeah, right lol" did not know he had access to CAT accounts, got my number and actually did it. Took few days for phone company to fix.
