@ampersandaz @loomdart Right? I got into $ETH a year ago at around $250. I’m very happy with the results, in 5-10 years I’m going to retire. Bitcoin will go down as the AOL of crypto.

@Antman0528 I am an IT guy. 1991, AOL was launched and I participated. Every treated everybody like ****, abstinent from media until 2/21. I joined here cause of the DNC chaos. I was banned 6 times in the first month, I was vulgar & insulting, to be fair. Since then, nothing. Soon I am sure.

It smarts a bit knowing that they were able to give Kono & Chin decent exit storylines without any real heads up, with the awful pay dispute, while Steve’s character got thrown under the bus in the last 10 minutes of the series finale after having more heads up about AOL leaving

@TankieMcgee That was such a satisfying feeling when things were connecting and the lightning bolt made it through the three little boxes on the AOL interface. It meant I could look up stuff about THE X-FILES and get into trouble in chat rooms....

@ccie2210 @coolbomb This is a long time ago, but Brian do you remember the day AOL went down for hours? According to the legend it was all because of an ill-configured routing configuration during an update. Did you know about that?

@nickroberts317 AOL didn't have any parental restrictions, but it was super slow. When I was 10 my cousins who were also 10-11 showed me some adult entertainment when their parents were out of the house. That's how I learned how babies were made.

@Traveler449 Honestly same. Switched between aol, prodigy, compuserv. Free trial, ***** chat, cancel, switch to the next, and repeat.
