@flowmindsets @getongab It feels like when internet first started and aol had 5 min noise before connecting. Or when it took 1 week to download a song from Napstar. Although Gab is new and exciting and if we all donated a little bit we can actually help them get going.

  • ckinfinite Chadd Keim (@ckinfinite) reported

@monkeyminion 1st Iraq War. Had fellas I knew that had just went into the service. Hubble, eMail, the internet/AOL, Waco, OJ and OKC, for sure.

@MichaelLindho14 @travisakers Hey now, AOL chatrooms were tha ****!

  • RealFrank215 Frank 🍥 (@RealFrank215) reported

@SkiesComing @ConanOBrien If people think this is bad, they would’ve had a major meltdown at the shenanigans of an AOL chat room.

  • AmericanaNaija Yoruba Fine-Boy (@AmericanaNaija) reported

@FootBruh I did Mavis Beacon at local community center down the street but I think I learned to type better through email, Aol and Yahoo messenger.

  • Joey08842532 I'm Donald J. Trump (@Joey08842532) reported

@mtracey @willchamberlain For the moment. Wealth is relative. We can chose to avoid them, we can pull money from funds that support them, MySpace, and AOL seemed the like the future too.

  • DavidJamesHill David James Hill (@DavidJamesHill) reported

@Olivia_Beavers @Olivia_Beavers what do you think is the next platform they move to after Parler is officially shut down? Craigslist? Or maybe AOL chatrooms?

  • amievmr Amie Terry (@amievmr) reported

@Maximus_4EVR 👀 I still have an aol account from when they were my service provider...

  • americanwombat Christina Holland (@americanwombat) reported

I *think* Prodigy was the first big service people could use to go online if they weren't smart about computers, it was before AOL and then AOL ate their lunch
