@kingstace_eth I’ve minted with it a couple of times and it was such a hassle. I’m a self-taught Dev and a tech savvy late-millennial, and I had to ask for help like I was an 80 year old man logging into AOL for the first time Not sure if they’ve improved, but it doesn’t feel like the future

@SnyderQueen_ @netflix To be fair, Warner Bros. has been in financial trouble for AT LEAST 22 years, long before AT&T ever showed up. Ever since AOL bought them back in '99. By the end of '02, AOL TimeWarner has an annual loss of $98.7 BILLION.

We already had Eliza like 40 years ago. We already had AoL chatbots. We know how and why people use this kind of chatbot ****, what its limitations are vis-a-vis human interaction, and what people get out of interacting with them. Chatgpt is slick, but it's not *new*.
