It was Israel's #inventions that opened the door to the www! We 🇺🇸 bought ICQ from 🇮🇱 it opened the door to AOL. The technology meant to connect us all became a breeding ground for bad actors.

@Breck_Worsham Me too, in cable network ad sales. When AOL took over Time Warner, CNN started selling news segments to the highest bidder and governments pay the most; namely Arab and US. You got a broadcaster, producer, video, and editor to slant the story in the direction you choose.

@BlueRaveFinn Also, never been on this online thing. I should look into it. I have an AOL CD in a box somewhere, will that help me?

@bud_eth @nhhchuong I think we have different approaches. I never bought into trading crypto. I follow the tech, put money down mainly to try each of the Chains. But my only real holding is #xrp. It's a no brainer. Sorry no AOL here dude. Ps good chat though.

Someone referred me to be part of the Discord Moderator Academy, and I'm assuming it has been because of my work as the re-AOL help desk (in official capacity). Eee! Of course I'm going to stay with the re-AOL for life, but even being referred to this is flattering!

@nbeaudrot @trumwill AOL just barely. It was Quantum Link until 89. Looked like a 2d platformer. Never saw Prodigy and they were considered our biggest competitor. I did use CIS in the early 80s. I was also on The Well, but that was super niche.
