@NodeSwiss @bflats2020 @Crypto_McKenna That's a great source. I remember when I first got AOL in mid 90s it was terrible. Took me 5 minutes to load a boob. If he waited five years before then, good because the internet sucked until early 2000s

  • RKRivera Juan Rivera (@RKRivera) reported

@CorralizaAdam @Navishing @DaxFTR Well if you have a problem with the way AOL runs their business you can't blame Turner for that.

  • CryptoSpaceX1 CryptoSpaceX (@CryptoSpaceX1) reported

@_LiAllen @ervzla @TheCryptoLark now that* vitalik has a model of solving the issue im hoping he can backpedal quick enough to keep ETH relevant and not end up like AOL dead in the water because of speed and security.

  • Red3Biggs Biggs Darklighter (@Red3Biggs) reported

@PepperOceanna My parents never owned a PC so by time I graduated, my online experience was already post-AOL dial up

  • PharmaBlue Fluffy (@PharmaBlue) reported

@dubblecounter @SarasCrazyLife Never had AOL. I was too nerdy for that. Direct connection to the internet via modem or BBS system.

@DaddyRolleda1 I remember blockbuster and going to get snacks while waiting for AOL to fail dial up. :P

  • MichaelBuckelew Michael Buckelew (@MichaelBuckelew) reported

@EsqMarkyMark @ecerv2004 @GreyDeLisle AOL went unlimited when I was a freshman in college. You had to write down like five numbers because some would be too busy.

  • EmGorse Emgorse (@EmGorse) reported

@ManBehindCurta1 @SergioVengeance @OmahaSpeak ‘Thus, lawsuits seeking to hold a service provider liable for its exercise of a publisher's traditional editorial functions — such as deciding whether to publish, withdraw, postpone or alter content — are barred.’ - Zeran v Aol - US courts of appeals, Fourth Circuit- Nov 12, 1997

  • MonicaYeh3 Monica Yeh (@MonicaYeh3) reported

Most founder of the big corporations seem to always step down voluntarily or removed because of the inability to function properly after the company firmly grounded and on its way up. AOL, Microsoft and Amazon. I wonder who is next in line to step down or removed.
