    @BarclaysUK is a truly dreadful bank. Essentially NO decent services for anyone without internet access & indeed most account options being unavailable to non-computer users, thereby being intrinsically ageist. Their "advisors" (not an apt description) are also unable to advise!

    @MorganMarkF @BarclaysUK @BarclaysUKHelp I think Barclays are still in the very dark ages when it comes to customer service. We stopped using them many moons ago, just too expensive for their own good. You should ask for a refund! As a gesture of goodwill, if that even is a thing anymore. Xktx

    @pitcarity @BarclaysUK Pretty much the same everywhere. Trying to get a human being to respond is almost impossible at some places.

    @BarclaysUK what's the best of contacting you regarding my account in your bank? I don't have the login details, I am not sure I cancelled my account back in 2016 and I keep receiving monthly statements. How can I close it once and for all?

    @BarclaysUKHelp @BarclaysUK You cancelled my account without warning last week after 25 years of being a business customer. You give no explanation as to why and you’ve closed all applications for new business accounts. Is this a war on small businesses to limit your exposure during this energy crisis?

    So another week comes to a close, and not a peep from @BarclaysUK or @BarclaysUKHelp a 24/7 helpline that's not followed up on. A customer process that's ignored. an ombudsman's recommendation to negotiate that's ignored, a bank who'd rather not deal with a problem they made

    @karen_swainston Just held in for 2 hours 20 mins for @BarclaysUK only to be cut off ! Responding to their request for me to contact them by phone ! They cannot expect small business owners to spend this amount of time just trying to speak to someone - such poor customer service

    According to @BarclaysUK, being able to pay-in cash is not a necessary feature of a bank branch. You need to search for one amongst the few remaining branches which actually can do it. They recommend using the post office! This is a public service announcement.
