@BarclaysUK is a truly dreadful bank. Essentially NO decent services for anyone without internet access & indeed most account options being unavailable to non-computer users, thereby being intrinsically ageist. Their "advisors" (not an apt description) are also unable to advise!

Awesome customer service @BarclaysUK … New debit card being rejected at Barclays ATM, branch closed before 15:00 on a Friday & taken me 25min just to get to speak with a human at Barclays & I’m still holding 36min later for outcome. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I'd love to know what's "Premier" about the service I've received from @BarclaysUK Chat on the App! Absolutely disgraceful would be a better description. Now I have to phone a premium number from my mobile! After wasting 40 minutes of my day. The same as on Friday! @Barclays

@BarclaysUK I was trying the chat feature over summer 2020 so I assumed the service was down due to large volume of bounce back loans taking precedence. He is not set up for telephone banking so trying to sort this out on his behalf.

@BarclaysUK Once again (a weekly occurrence) awful service from Barclays Bank. Just went to Sloan Sq branch to pay in old notes to be told to take them to Bank of England!! I pay these old notes in very often in Richmond branch. Barclays is getting beyond a joke now

@BarclaysUK Trying to open a new account. Waited over an hour on 6 separate occasions on video calling app. Disconnected when I reach the top each time. Went to branch today & told 5 weeks wait for an appt. so fed up. Utterly fed up. Pls help.

@BarclaysUK I have now been trying to get an appointment since yesterday on your Apple chat. Apparently now I am being told that due to a “technical issue” the chat has to close and to start a new one in 30-40 minutes!! I am not a app customer so cannot access live chat - poor
