Absolutely appreciating the rule which is new customers attend the nearest branch (by appointment) to open a fixed rate ISA…but it would be great if Barclays picked up the phone to help make arrangements? Dreadful #Barclays

They are clearly afraid of action, and the management structure around them is poorly trained and culturally incompetent in many cases I believe remote working makes it worse

adham (@adhamaloka) reported@BarclaysUKHelp @Barclays @BarclaysUK I continue to face several technical difficulites with Barclays. 1) Mobile app on Andriod is not user friendly and slow. 2) Mobile Contactless payment on Android is only possible via the App which requires me to login every 2 to 3 days. 🧵

Some give phone numbers and can be virtually impossible to get through . You listen to music for an age and often get cut off or they say you have to speak to someone else . Been there .

No result

Takes far too long to get certificates of balance in the event of the 'real' death of a customer. Verifying Letters of Executorship/Probate is probably a challenge for banks.
