  @BarclaysUK about five years ago I was in a group looking at FinTech as a case study. The presenter noted how effective @monzo had been in pulling him personally into more and more of their services. Salary was the last thing he was still using his traditional bank for, and he was convinced that one day Monzo would make him feel comfortable putting that into their account, and he would fully leave his traditional bank. Following the most inept attempt at customer service, this might be the time to follow in his footsteps: close the account I've had with Barclays since they got me with the free whatever at university freshers week, and commit fully to Monzo. One increasingly wonders how the traditional high street banks expect to survive.

  Damn @LloydsBank now have a £500 bank switch offer on their premier account. I already am a premier customer and certain I have done a bank switch already since Jan 2023. Did @BarclaysUK switch a few months ago and got £400.

  @HukAleksandra Fair enough then. I recently had massive issues with @BarclaysUK stopping all my crypto purchases to the point I just closed my account. Banking in the UK is getting too sinister in my opinion.

  @BarclaysUK I can't log into my account online to view my new mortgage because it wants me to use PINsentry, but I don't have a PINSentry device and there is no PINsentry option in my app despite your help page stating there should be. How can I get access to my online account?

  @BarclaysUK I think your Orca ad is terrible! It’s psychologically putting pressure on those living at home to go out and get a mortgage because there’s something wrong with living at home! What a dreadful message to put out! 😡#Familylove
