My mum takes my dad off her Barclays account after he died and they set up all direct debits in the wrong name but deny it’s their fault. Apparently it’s a coincidence all the direct debit companies have the wrong name and @BarclaysUK can’t help.

@BarclaysUK Hi! I called from overseas last week to close my account. I am supposed to receive my statements for the last 5 years through email. I received an email saying my statement is now available to view online. I tried to log into my Barclays account, but there's an error.

@StanDMan_BTFD @BarclaysUK They got resumed a few weeks later. I’ve made deposits from Binance to my bank account a few times since, last time being as recent as 10 days ago. The service has been suspended recently, just not communicated properly

@BarclaysUK service status on your website says your APP is working fine... it isn't.... an hour ago same service status said under maintenance.... so clearly someone isn't updating the site correctly
