  i have a problem i lost my card the other day after shopping at my local supermarket and although you have emailed to say you have posted my newcard out to me as a pensioner with health problems is there any alternative for me to get some money out to keep me going until my new card arrives other than going into town which will be difficult for me practically to get to my local branch? @BarclaysUK

  @BarclaysUK - There are many things that are good about your online service but the way it seems to forget the people I’ve recently paid is extremely annoying.

  @BarclaysUK Never experienced worse service. If you are an expat considering opening a UK bank account STAY AWAY. They will close your account, take your money, and make it impossible to get it back. This is even after visiting a UK branch in person.

  @Barclays I’ve banked with @BarclaysUK since I was 15 — 43 years without ever being overdrawn or causing a problem. I recently received a notice that my account will be closed because I now currently live overseas. I still hold a British passport, pay UK bills, and plan to return home regularly , and intend to retire in the UK. I completely understand compliance rules, but this feels harsh after four decades of loyalty. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this now common practice for British expats? Feels like loyalty no longer counts for much in modern banking.

  @BarclaysUK Needs to fix up waiting for my mum to be seen for an issue we’ve come for the second time, I’m glad I’ve changed banks but my mum still wants to rock with her day one bank.. the branch in Walthamstow sucks, rude behaviour for staff

  @BarclaysUK Guys. There's a problem with the way payments to Lloyds credit cards are showing in mobile banking. Random narratives of "American Express" a "Create" are appearing. Even though the payment is made to a Lloyds credit card. This can be quite confusing on statements.

  Hi @BarclaysUK I opened a Student Account (Ac: 73150445) with Barclays UK in August 2019. I left UK in June-2020 amidst Covid and no longer have access to the account or the linked UK mobile number. Despite my mails, the account has not been closed. Please close the account ASAP
