@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Heartless service is so common now. The way @BarclaysUK treated my mum (who was on chemo herself) when my dad died was evil. They even gave her a name to complain and send registered mail to - who they later admitted didn’t exist! They too refused my power of attorney doc.

@BarclaysUK just had the misfortune of needing to use a branch in Manchester City centre after queuing at market st branch for 25 mins to be told no counter service getting sent to their only other branch in the city to find out there is a hour que for counter service tinpot outf

@BarclaysUK Hi @Barclays, I am a Premier Account client and have tried during last 3 months to increase my credit card limit. Yes, 3 MONTHS !!! The app is not working. I call and they asked me to do it on the app. What a poor service.

@sumner_rowan @BarclaysUK I called again today and got the same - still not able to receive foreign cheques. It’s quite incredible that the most basic service you expect from an account is unavailable. I’ve logged a complaint with the financial ombudsman
