“There were charges against your card today, £300, £1300” said the robot voice. Put phone down before it could continue, rushed to @BarclaysUK in York. There WEREN’T any but it’s so easy to fall for this as mum did years ago. Everything checked out ok.

@danielowenyoung @BarclaysUK I hope you are not being deprived of service!!

@BarclaysUK Being a customer for more years then I could imagine the rates of paying it back a mth is staggering. Who can afford between £100 & £200 + per mth. Would like an ebike but will pay cash outright.

@BarclaysUK @Barclays Barclays Premier Banking Service is literally not fit for purpose! 😡

@BarclaysUK after 26yrs I've switched all my business to another. It's not been a happy change, last few wks with your overstretched complaints team. I keep my Accts in order & I've moved products, you aren't competitive . You can't make money off me, I'm no value as a customer.

  • irfannahmadd Ian IA (@irfannahmadd) reported

@BarclaysUK Barclays@Coventry service hub never answers the phone, despite repeated many attempts. Hope @BarclaysUK would give better solution for its business customers

Another hour of my life wasted on my lunch break trying to contact @barclays to pay an ERC on my mortgage in order to refix my mortgage. No call back feature. Can’t help online. All for the privilege to take £2k for basically an admin charge @BarclaysUK @BarclaysUKHelp

@McDona1d @BarclaysUK @AskNationwide Yep, Nationwide use the same company as Barclays unfortunately. Ironically, when I left Barclays (due to this issue) I moved to Nationwide. I was disappointed to learn that they used the same company to fulfil the mobile phone insurance.

@BarclaysUK must have had their finest experts working on my royalty cheque. It took deep thought and much effort to process. And, after all, it's not every day a bank has to process a cheque. This is why they've charged £600 to do so.

Barclays bank is madness. Do I really have to wait 1hr to see a @BarclaysUK customer service advisor??? No counter service? No physical barrier between staff and possible irate customers? Where’s your security? I’m shocked at this business model.
