Anth3891 (@Anth_83) reported@EmmaLewell It's hard to believe the poor quality service @BarclaysUK is permitted to get away with, despite the profits that I think @IanLaveryMP recently drew attention to. I couldn't get the ATM to work but, hilariously, its Shields branch isn't staffed on a Saturday!

Andrew sutherland (@AndrewS5724) reportedWARNING: The @BarclaysUK Travel Pack is not fit for purpose. I'm currently stranded abroad in a legal emergency and the "Emergency Assistance" is non-existent. Paid for a service that leaves you vulnerable when you need it most. Avoid at all costs.

Nicki Schu (@NickiSchu) reported@BarclaysUK Never experienced worse service. If you are an expat considering opening a UK bank account STAY AWAY. They will close your account, take your money, and make it impossible to get it back. This is even after visiting a UK branch in person.
