Word of advise don't bother using the Barclays chat within the mobile app. You will chat with upwards of 6 people in one day and the issue won't actually be resolved @BarclaysUK

@BarclaysUK What a total shambles your customer service has become. I have been trying to resolve a serious account error since January!Your customer relations line has an automated msg that wait times are an hour minimum as you have ‘fewer colleagues’ due to Covid! Tosh!

My mum hasn't left the house for 12 months as she is shielding and wants to shut her @BarclaysUK account. They won't let her do it unless she goes into the branch. Quite unbelievable how poor traditional bank customer service is.

My local branch is shut today, the phone lines bat you around automated nonsense and I am constantly directed to the app chat line, except there isn’t one. @BarclaysUK your customer service is non existent and I’m frustrated and angry.
