Every time I have to interact with customer service from a legacy bank like @Barclays @BarclaysUK I understand why these banks are always at the bottom of every consumer satisfaction survey. 11 years as a customer.I’ll keep my business with them to the minimum until I unplug them

Seriously bad service @BarclaysUK Father in law a customer of 50+ yrs with 4 a/c's trying to get a debit card after moving back to UK..45 mins in branch and told we can't help. He calls Customer service,put on hold then disconnected. Appalling...

@BarclaysUK I've had to 'clear data' from my barclays app due to it freezing when I was trying to make a payment - its now asking me for an activation code. I'm an existing customer - do I need to go instore to get a new code?

@BarclaysUK Banking in Guiseley today, 2 windows,5 people before me in the queue, by the time I got to the counter 6 behind me. This is a branch you are closing. People don’t want apps & phone banking, we want humans , cash, because cash is still king you know & proper service.

@BarclaysUK over 3 hours on phone and now been put back to music on hold. YOUR SYSTEMS ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. I’ve asked for the problem to escalated and been told someone will get back to me within 8 (YES EIGHT) weeks!

@BarclaysUK Yeah but the problem is regardless of who you speak to messages or phone, to whomever you are passed to next .. you spend hours and hours going through it over and over to either be told there is nothing that person can do or they will have to call you back. then .. NOTHING

@keven0262 @thatlaurawrites @BarclaysUK Yes. What we are finding is that staff increasingly ‘ghost’ us and clients if it gets too hard. They are clearly afraid of action, and the management structure around them is poorly trained and culturally incompetent in many cases I believe remote working makes it worse
