It's actually quite fun to see @BarclaysUK pandering to the pronounist ideology, and losing customers over it, when Stonewall are at last held to account for their repeated lies, and the fringe extremism is crumbling down

  • bobbywoods2012 robert woods (@bobbywoods2012) reported

@BarclaysUK What a load of nonsense. When will companies just supply a service and keep away from this. This upsets their customers,we went to school don't need a bank giving this rubbish.

  • KateCommonsense kate commonsense (@KateCommonsense) reported

@BarclaysUK Vast, vast majority of peoples pronouns are obvious therefore I will not waste my time asking this question, the tiny minority of people who's pronouns are not obvious can tell me what they prefer and I will oblige. stop lecturing people . A Barclays customer.

  • joenutt_author Joe Nutt (@joenutt_author) reported

@BarclaysUK Long, long, long standing customer here. Don’t lecture me, just do what a good bank should. Look after my money.

@andyfox42 @BarclaysUK Oh my god I know right? ******* hate it when people are considerate of others. Why don’t they get it through their thick skulls that only the majority matters and everyone else can **** off? Makes my blood boil.

@BarclaysUK Oh please, shut ******** up with this pronouns bollox. He is a he, she is a she. He or she can deal with it if they dont like it.

  • jdd1311 Jimmy Douglas (@jdd1311) reported

@BarclaysUK In 99% of cases the default assumption will be correct. People can use the neutral 'they' if unsure. In the remaining 1% of cases, the non-binary person can just correct without getting offended, honest mistake. Saves time and stops all this becoming an unnecessary issue.

  • quigzy1 Will (@quigzy1) reported

@Chris__Dee @mintopinion @BarclaysUK I'd take issue with the term Advice, as the language is instructive as opposed to informational. They are, of course, free to do as they wish with their social media account. Bit of a result too, as I just got given £125 for switching.
