    If you bank with @BarclaysUK then I suggest like me you consider moving your money somewhere else. I’ve been trying to get a problem sorted out now for nearly three days and guess what? Not resolved yet

    @Barclays I’ve banked with @BarclaysUK since I was 15 — 43 years without ever being overdrawn or causing a problem. I recently received a notice that my account will be closed because I now currently live overseas. I still hold a British passport, pay UK bills, and plan to return home regularly , and intend to retire in the UK. I completely understand compliance rules, but this feels harsh after four decades of loyalty. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this now common practice for British expats? Feels like loyalty no longer counts for much in modern banking.

    @BarclaysUK - Hi, I just received the following message, is it a scam? Hi, we've found an issue with your debit card, so we've sent you a replacement. Your old card won't work after 28 days, or as soon as you use your new one.
