With @Barclays @BarclaysUK shutting so many branches in rural areas, the sales/savings that result in a time the banks need to be available, I assume it will benefit account holders in some way? Also May be improve the phone line service also?

@jonhoneyball @BarclaysUK I've been with Barclays since 1978 and always found them to be excellent. Recently dealing with their executive team they solved my problem quickly and efficiently. I often use Metro bank to deposit cash.

@BarclaysUKHelp @BarclaysUK yes I have the app. I don’t want to get sucked into a call centre/online process that takes me nowhere. I only need to know why I was turned down so that I can address that issue. I think that’s only reasonable for a customer of 40 years!

@BarclaysUK my husband no longer holds current accounts with you but still has a loan, he is trying to pay this off but when he rings call centre they say they can’t give him a settlement figure as he no longer holds a current account? Can anyone help resolve this?

big thanks to the @BarclaysUK customer service agent who got my mum to clear cache to fix logging into online banking but didn't explain it would log her out of every website worried mother on the phone at 8am because she has "lost everything" some additional training required
