Liarpoliticians, UK has rogue Parliament+police (@liarpoliticianz) reported@BarclaysUK Trying to set up an online account for a friend, keep getting error 1089 - which states there is no mobile phone on the account. NO ****, the person doesn't own a mobile phone, so can't set up a password they'll never use, as they want pin device you never sent.

Isn't it obvious that they just politely told you to **** of since 2021? Just change the bank man, ALL the other bank apps are better ,have actual useful features.

Liarpoliticians, UK has rogue Parliament+police (@liarpoliticianz) reported@Packology @Barclays @BarclaysUK It won't let you log in without a "mobile" phone number (there is no option to add one), but you can't change anything until you log in. THAT is the problem.
