With @Barclays @BarclaysUK shutting so many branches in rural areas, the sales/savings that result in a time the banks need to be available, I assume it will benefit account holders in some way? Also May be improve the phone line service also?

@jonhoneyball @BarclaysUK I've been with Barclays since 1978 and always found them to be excellent. Recently dealing with their executive team they solved my problem quickly and efficiently. I often use Metro bank to deposit cash.

I asked my local @BarclaysUK about an account for my 15 yr old. They said I have to open an account too, no problem, but they also wanted me to shift ALL my banking to them. Nope. They refused because "they want to encourage new customers" ?????

@BarclaysUK just had the misfortune of needing to use a branch in Manchester City centre after queuing at market st branch for 25 mins to be told no counter service getting sent to their only other branch in the city to find out there is a hour que for counter service tinpot outf

@BarclaysUK Hi @Barclays, I am a Premier Account client and have tried during last 3 months to increase my credit card limit. Yes, 3 MONTHS !!! The app is not working. I call and they asked me to do it on the app. What a poor service.

@BarclaysUK Wouldn't advise this, unless you want to spend endless hours in phone queues trying to get customer support. 1 hour 35 minutes so far.
