  With @Barclays @BarclaysUK shutting so many branches in rural areas, the sales/savings that result in a time the banks need to be available, I assume it will benefit account holders in some way? Also May be improve the phone line service also?

  @jonhoneyball @BarclaysUK I've been with Barclays since 1978 and always found them to be excellent. Recently dealing with their executive team they solved my problem quickly and efficiently. I often use Metro bank to deposit cash.

  @BarclaysUK @HomeOfCricket What about the abysmal design of a totally BLACK debit card? Yes I know you can ask for a high visibility card but who on earth commissioned a BLACK card that sits in BLACK wallets and purses. Good luck finding it in a dark pub or club if you drop it.   @BarclaysUK WTF? Opened an account in the App yesterday, now I can't access the app, or online banking. Keeps asking me for information I don't have, & I've got no idea if the information is being posted to me. Also got no idea if a Debit card is on the way! No communications...

  Simply astounds me that a corporation as big as @Barclays @BarclaysUK can be so consistently poor when it comes to service. Had a 75k business loan approved over a week ago and still no documents. Our account manager was superb, only to be let down by inexplicable poor admin.

  So Barclays Bank has gone from our high street. Nearest one is now MK which is 30 mins away. I have a new phone and no access to the app therefore no access to any money @BarclaysUK
