@jonhoneyball @BarclaysUK I've been with Barclays since 1978 and always found them to be excellent. Recently dealing with their executive team they solved my problem quickly and efficiently. I often use Metro bank to deposit cash.

With @Barclays @BarclaysUK shutting so many branches in rural areas, the sales/savings that result in a time the banks need to be available, I assume it will benefit account holders in some way? Also May be improve the phone line service also?

And the total lack of customer care. I missed the stamp duty deadline because they booked a valuation, changed the valuation date,

@nightsonrepeat @mathano4 @BarclaysUK That’s ridiculous. It’s disgustingly invasive and unnecessary. If you’re gonna blame your job for a condition and go to court you have to get your doctor to agree that it wasn’t a problem before the job. Which they won’t risk their job to lie under oath.

@BarclaysUK what is going on with you’re TechPack claims line, been trying to get through all day and keep getting cut off after about an hour!! Can’t remember having this problem when LSG were running it, used to get straight through, online claims isn’t working either.

@DouglasKMurray @sdunne45 They are fools. @BarclaysUK wouldn't let me keep my account open with a £1 balance after I had my first child and was not taking benefits, or working. A year later I went on to have a well paid and lucrative career for over 35 years and chose HSBC as my bank.
