@BarclaysUK Are Barclays execs bent on making it near impossible to bank with you? Just had an email re additional security checks when I shop. I am closing all my accounts with you, your service and lack of branches are appalling.

@BarclaysUK Why are environmentalists not attacking the constant promotion of built in obsolescence by industries and financiers? The first telephone I can remember (a landline) was on the house for 17 years that I know of, still working fine when I left.

@BarclaysUK I’ve just got a letter, supposedly from Barclays, but something seems off to me as it’s about a refund. The phone number quoted in the letter isn’t on your website that I can see. Can you confirm if 0800 634 3893 is a genuine Barclays phone number please? Bet it isn’t

Lol. When you're arguing for a good hour with @BarclaysUK credit support team. "Kindly check your statement again". I've checked it 5 times mate. I've got it up on my dual monitors. What you're saying has happened. Hasn't happened.

@BarclaysUK 2/7 As it wasn't clear where to go, most people joined the queue at the desk where the lady directed everyone to the self-service desk. The self service desks have multiple signs attached to the wall above each one that states there are pickpockets around.

@BarclaysUK 0/10 for customer service I'm afraid and I feel sorry for the vulnerable people and elderly who are not used to carrying out transaction digitally. Aside from the very real danger of pickpockets, the stress of going to the bank would deter them from even attempting a trip.
