@SurprisedCat @YEYEmeta @BarclaysUK Also the problem with server latency issues is people that are actually closer to the server are gonna have better chances

  • BowTiedBustard BowTiedBustard (@BowTiedBustard) reported

@dan_ldn1 @LayahHeilpern @BarclaysUK IMO, it's not that FS is *entirely* useless - loans and savings products can serve a valuable purpose. The problem is that the current industry is largely self-serving and highly parasitic. Decentralised finance will replace much of it with code. And Barclays doesn't like that.

  • SurprisedCat Hell⭕ Kay (@SurprisedCat) reported

@YEYEmeta @BarclaysUK 2) people with janky Internet connections can press buy it now earlier as they are aware how fast/slow their connection is. Now the responsibility of server latency is completely in ecomi's hands, which means users are at the mercy of the Internet gods haha

  • bdegi1 bdegi (@bdegi1) reported

@BarclaysUK today they block binance, tomorrow they will decide, which company people must choose buying daily products

  • arabell54922271 arabella (@arabell54922271) reported

@BarclaysUK worst customer service experience of my life. I recently lost my father and you don't respond to my letters to change my details and can't do anything over the phone. Calls drop. Nightmare.

  • SurprisedCat Hell⭕ Kay (@SurprisedCat) reported

@YEYEmeta @BarclaysUK 1) Yep I'm going to raise this at the AMA. I get why a countdown is a good feature but in practice there are issues... Having the buy now button visible from the start but transactions failing if clicked too early is a better approach I would say for a key reason

  • YEYEmeta YEYE ⭕ (@YEYEmeta) reported

@SurprisedCat @BarclaysUK good for you kay~ on another note, are you aware that different devices have different timers. my iphone is 22 seconds slowler than my android in counting down the minutes. my ghosttrap looks further and further away now...

@LayahHeilpern As a Barclays Premier customer of over 12 years I was fuming when I got the text message. @BarclaysUK Sort it out, it’s my money, I can do what I like with it.

  • timmyz_kickz APE.named.timmy (@timmyz_kickz) reported

@BarclaysUK You banks realize you are nothing with out consumers, don’t you? You will go down as losers in history.

  • andrepiacentini André Piacentini (@andrepiacentini) reported

@BarclaysUKHelp @AzrinMi Just to remember @BarclaysUK : it's customer's money. They don't have to ask you if they can spend or not... Rethink about this bizarre decision.
