Tried to open a bank account for my 13YO son @BarclaysUK yesterday, really poor customer service- was told basically that as I don’t bank with them that’s it’s difficult to open an account, felt like we were fobbed off and it was in the too difficult to do box #disappointed

@BarclaysUK service status on your website says your APP is working fine... it isn't.... an hour ago same service status said under maintenance.... so clearly someone isn't updating the site correctly

@BarclaysUK Is your video calling service currently working? I’m trying to open two BarclayPlus accounts without going into a branch but there is no Video Call option available within the app and the separate Video calling app needs a link to be sent to it
