Quick update re @BarclaysUK - after another hour on the phone to the Specialist Support Team, they gave me the number for the fraud department… who told me the same thing that 3 hours worth of Barclays staff told me yesterday… that I’m still screwed.

I swear to god @BarclaysUK can’t manage my account they’ve cancelled a card that I haven’t even received “as they say it was fraudulently used” it wasn’t it was the card before that now they’ve left me without a debit card & or access to money to buy petrol food ffs

@BarclaysUK the card reader my elderly mother in law uses doesn’t work anymore. My father in law asked the local branch to help & they just sent him away telling him to fit new batteries. Not ideal considering a tiny screw needs removing etc. Any chance of you sending a new one?
