If its covered there you're legal expenses insurer will pay for the damage to be repaired allowing you to pick the folks that fix it. Then your insurer can have the hassle of chasing BT to get their money back. Worth a phone call.

Where is the recompense? Where? Where is the thought in the process that stops this from being a long-winded problem for people again and again.
