No fees, no separate wallet, multi-chain USDC access - that removes a lot of the crypto UX tax. The biggest stablecoin adoption driver may not be DeFi yields. It may be familiar apps making digital dollars feel normal.

Ari Eiberman 🇦🇷 Stablecards (@AriEiberman) reportedI got paid from @CashApp directly to my @belo_app I can make requests in USDC and the payer chooses between balance in Cash or BTC, and then it does this hoops: Cash (cashapp) > BTC LN (cashapp) > BTC LN (Belo) > USDC (Belo) It looks it took a long 19min to appear in my app, since @gminoprio sent it at 9:41pm (SF) and my app shows the tx at 2:00am (BA). Belo is currently waiving a 2% fee, which I believe is the right way to intro a feature. But I still wonder if that's the right fee size for a BTC LN tx. Anyway, happy to see this working out

Paul Fidika (@PaulFidika) reportedDid you know that, on @CashApp after you type your friend's name and select them, there are random 'suggested' other people (why?) listed, and if you click those by accident, it'll overwrite who your friend's name with their name. If you click 'pay' there is no further 'are you sure you want to send money to person X?' or 'you have never sent money to this person before' warning. It literally sends the money in one click. If you happen to notice your mistake, there is no undo / cancel button, even within a 60-second window of sending; it's just done. Cash App support also does nothing; you get an LLM which runs you in circles. Terrible UX. Is this really a $42 billion company? WTF. How did you fail at something this simple? @CashSupport
