@MarleyBoxer14 @MarinaPurkiss @EE The deposit is because you need it to justify it based on your CC or you have deposit rated services (premium calling et) - if it’s that and you removed the service the deposit would be returned.

@MarinaPurkiss @EE Not a surprise. They recently attempted to rip me off in relation to my phone and broadband. They will be getting a complaint and cancellation request issued very soon. Good luck getting your Mum’s charges resolved.

@MarinaPurkiss @EE I wonder what time of day this call was made. - Being an early-bird when off to work, I have (more than once) walked past a 'telecom' engineer sitting in his van chatting with places-foreign. Seemingly doing so on a customer's dime.

@MarinaPurkiss @EE The main thing is do not give up getting your mum’s money back. Personally I’ve been lucky with EE in store assistance but customer service is usually a different matter. Hopefully a resolution will come soon

@MarinaPurkiss @EE @EE have installed new fibre to my 91 year old Mum and now her landline is not functioning the majority of the time after 6 engineer visits. Her mobile signal is minimal so it leaves her unable to get help. Nobody seems to know the solution. It’s rubbish service!
