@Jason23Gar @toddneville Everyone I don't know if this helps you but I have had a great deal of success reaching Ohio unemployment through Facebook messenger. I send a message and usually that same day I get a message back and they have fixed my issues every single time this way. Better than calling.

@KatieDaviscourt Do not use FB Messenger. Facebook has access to messages you send there. Use a E2E encrypted service like Signal, Whatsapp, Telegram (with encryption enabled), etc.

@officedepot I sent a Facebook Messenger DM after 2 wasted calls to customer service I chose Office Depot over Amazon not realizing OD delivery windows were “flexible”... to put it nicely My order was time sensitive. Without notice the delivery window increased by a WEEK which left me screwed

@doney @pilky The main problem I keep coming back to like you mention is the network effect. Whole countries are completely tied to WhatsApp/Instagram/FB Messenger for their main form of communication. How do you convince, say, family or coworkers to download another app to talk to you?

@grammacevery @chrislhayes Just have everyone use a more reliable app like Telegram, WhatsApp, or FB Messenger. Since they're actually cross platform you won't have as many issues.

If I wasn’t a bad enough friend for forgetting to reply before COVID I’ve just looked in my Facebook messenger and saw a message unopened from 4 days ago and now I feel like it’s rude to reply but message notifications just overwhelm me and I just put my phone down instead 🙃
