Got home from that horrible experience was on hold for 39+ minutes with customer service and never got to a live person after going through a automated que that doesn't understand what I wanted. Found a LIVE chat in Facebook messenger... FAIL

@PVDDR I've had this exact problem starting 2-3 days ago, using Facebook and Facebook Messenger on Google Chrome in Windows 10. The solution was to turn off AdBlock Plus on Facebook.

@British_Airways So I have received an email saying my booking will be cancelled unless I confirm within 24hrs. How can I confirm when it's almost impossible to speak to someone? I've tried calling, FB messenger, email, on here? Very shoddy service BA. I'm extremely dissatisfied.

I don't know when their "busiest times" are but maybe customer service can help. I have a look on the website and they say I can contact them by Twitter, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp. I choose Messenger.
