@HotpointSupport I've been hoping to speak with someone all day, can't get through by phone (both today & yesterday I can hear them speaking, they can't hear me), contacted by DM here, no one has got back to me all day, also contacted on FB messenger, same. Pretty disgusted RN. Terrible service.

I've set boundaries for my own well-being which is a daily one hour phone call during the week and *some* responses via FB messenger. But she has *no-one* except a list of waiting lists and a pharmacy service unable to prescribe her prescriptions.

@deaflibertarian You know in a way it would be convenient if Twitter did like a Facebook messenger style video calling or audio calling service but I don’t think it would go very well at all considering that peoples personalities here are different than on Facebook.

@ToddAppel @FiorellaIsabelM Me too! I sent it to a friend of mine on FB Messenger, and it got pulled for “violating community standards”. I shut down my Facebook account almost a year ago. I guess now they monitor what people send through private messaging.

@DaveTheWave1998 @abbygov I guess part of the disconnect here is that people find it hard to believe there are places where Snapchat is the defacto messaging service over literally anything else like WhatsApp or even FB Messenger/Instagram.

@Ceylantics @Squidgnz @m0sstrx Its possible that they didnt want to pay the SMS charge to text you. A group chat with only iphones when you connect to wifi is free. They’re still bad friends though. When this happened my friend group just moved the group chat to facebook messenger. problem solved.

@trentonstech @amplifiedpoop If iMessage goes down then SMS still should work. If SMS isnt working then I would just try and use my work phone, and then FB messenger if that doesn’t work.

British Airways Facebook messenger scam…the scam is download AnyDesk and then they want you to keep texting on messenger while they take control of your computer. They were very clever with no grammar or spelling errors and even gave me an adviser name and number. Be aware!

@talk2GLOBE your customer service is atrocious: your website tells us to call 211 or use the app. Your hotline tells us to use the app. The app directs us to Facebook Messenger. Why even have a website, app, or hotline if you’re going to send us to use FB if we don’t have it?!

@aaravmeanspeace Honestly, in terms of adaption, no other app is available on everyone's phone. Especially if you are providing customer service or taking order on WhatsApp. Having own app helps, otherwise some alternative maybe Insta dm (not everyone ok), slack, Signal, Google duo, Fb messenger
