I don’t believe for a minute this is just ‘networking issues’ or the usual problems, it’s been literally hours now, this is horrible for people who rely on social platforms such as whatsapp and fb messenger to contact their loved ones

@attoliancrown If it makes you feel better at all: I told my bf in advance FB, Insta etc were down. He proceeded to be shocked when he couldn't log in to FB, had to tell him again. And then shocked again when he couldn't log in to FB messenger. Had to repeat it was all broken lol.

@SarahBekett yeah my s/o has a really crappy old phone so we don’t really use text messaging at all, we use fb messenger bc they can do that from a tablet / iPod touch etc - but not if it’s down 😒
