@dickadillas What I did in Peru when my card was getting declined. I would send money through fb messenger or even PayPal to someone I knew and then they would take out the cash for me. Not sure if this will help.

Chantal saying she reconnected Nader’s phone service so he could communicate with family makes no sense. Whatsapp and fb messenger don’t require a phone plan. He could just use any old phone on WiFi

Thank you everyone for the kind words, I am devastated. In my Daughter in laws defense she did try calling. I live in a very remote area and my service is touchy. But the Facebook messenger always works, I don't know why. That is the only way she could tell me.
