SoftPawsSandyClaws (@Paws_SandyClaws) reported@gemmaahutton I can really empathize🙋 I'm in Ireland and watch on a Freeview box. Only have crap internet, so can't watch 1 channel & record a different one. No Sky, Netflix or the like 🙄 And cos I'm not in the UK, no BBC player, etc. Still, I make do
-
Andi Saunders (@Andi4asg) reported@brendonvbone it affected my SKY signal, had to switch to Freeview HD to watch Peston

Mr. Kiwi (@MrHilariouskiwi) reported@FoxyLustyGrover Who funds those crap TV channels Shine TV etc? Why are they even on Freeview? How did they get there? Who decided?

Russell Scott (@swaalster) reported@FreeviewAdvice We have been having problems with Freeview for months. Need to retune every day and real trouble getting BBC HD, ITV HD and Channel 4 HD. Haven't been able to get Points West consistently for years. Freeview is absolute garbage.

Talking Pictures TV (@TalkingPicsTV) reported@WASPCommander Sadly we don't control your signal strength, you need to speak with your service provider, who should be able to advise you/help you. Is its Freeview? Freeview advice line on 03456 505050.

♦♠JAQK♥♣🐼Vtuber! (@JAQKpanda) reported@KatiKnitt That really sucks. We have the TV license here in the UK, but if you don't actually consume "live TV" (BBC, freeview, live sports, etc.) then you don't actually have to pay for it; in my case, all I use is YT, Twitch & stream subs. Shocking and aggravating that you're forced to!

Wokstation (@WokStation) reported@dr_monkeyface @Superproprep @GuildOfMakers next door tried to pay me just for retuning their freeview tv! To them it's hiring in a skill they didn't have, to me it's *press two buttons and turn down their money*

tinopener (@tinopener1) reported@soniasodha @SkyNews @anitabboateng There's no magic money tree. You'll never get on GB News (freeview 236) unless you can comment practically on these issues.

silverwind (@silverwind9999) reported@compo99 @irishkazza @BorisJohnson I have an old phone, don’t smoke or drink, only have freeview, haven’t been on holiday in over a decade, never owned designer anything, have had the same old trainers for years and have only gotten one small tattoo in the last 5 years that I saved up for for months. Try again 🙄

Stephen Neal (@Stephen_Neal) reported@nigelwUK @MatthewMarks42 @bobdvb Odd. It must be doing a 5.1->2.0 PCM fold-down rather than a 5.1 PCM output I guess. There is no stereo on Freeview HD when 5.1 is being broadcast. (On satellite there is a parallel stereo audio description feed)
