I still haven’t forgiven u @virginmedia for axing Thatstv2 and Thatstv3 at least now it’s not even on the menu wasn’t nice when u kept it up on the guide showing me what was on. (@Matt_Q_OnX) reported@sparry951 @diablik_uk @BENEFITS_NEWS It'll be a slow creep; for many years now some channels on the Freeview EPG have in fact been streamed. Freeview recorders are still readily available for those that want them; if you're using Sky/Virgin etc. you're already NOT using the Freeview service that is 'under threat'.

Freeview is the biggest digital platform in the U.K. - used by a lot of peoole aged 60, a % of the licence fee helps maintain that service. 1/2

George (The UK Action Team) (@UKAT_George) reportedPrecisely and if the BBC want to discontinue running the freeview service and save money on upkeep of the transmitters why do we have to pay the licence fee. If you decide to only watch non BBC live channels online which you pay for by having broadband then the licence is wrong.
