@Mark56623345 I hear that down to something like the BBC can't rent out any slots to a 3rd party as part of deal the BBC signed with OFCOM to get a Freeview SD multiplex (Now known as BBC A) back in 2002. But The BBC can rent out slots on BBC B - their HD multiplex.

  • a516digital Mike (@a516digital) reported

@andyAVAVsystems The Freeview HD mux PSB3/BBC-B is regionalised in England as follows: - London (ITV London) - South and East (Meridian SE) - E/W Mids, West & SW (Central) - North (Granada) Clearly this needs breaking down further for BBC One HD.

@TalkTalk I lost BBC channels retuned and lost more thye sent a new set top box before Xmas and all was fine on 24th January exactly the same happened. Terrestrial TV through my aerial is fine only through box is an issue they have no solution gave me Freeview to ring!!!

  • Brekkietweets Brekkie (@Brekkietweets) reported

@adamhale_ @IanRedman11 @FreeviewTV The issue is though that HD space is only limited due to inaction by Freeview. Even with losing that extra capacity to 5G had a long term plan been put in place when COM7/8 were launched we should have a platform now with space for around 30 HD channels and the rest in SD.

@FoxyLustyGrover lol, this happens to us as well (we only have freeview), it starts to cut out when there's heavy rain. On Friday it cut out for the longest time it ever has o_O

  • a516digital Mike (@a516digital) reported

@smartin The version of C4 HD on Freesat and Freeview is the London ad region. This means C4 HD isn't eligible to move to 104 until the regional variants of C4 HD are added to Freesat, so it matches the current SD service.

  • stanyanfan49 Roy Kelly (@stanyanfan49) reported
